Sorry....I was surprised when he responded with that as well. Most of the stuff is in his head after watching cooking shows or reading up on stuff....and there is a huge shelf of cook books in the kitchen. He has some huge binder of recipes he's collected too....
I kinda like him!

You just get their regular ones, they should be glazed. I believe that's all they used to be but in past years they've gotten fancy with toppings/fillings, etc. Probably to rival Dunkin Doughnts. We didn't have Krispy Kreame in DE until a few years ago. I grew up with Mr. Doughnut (still remember the doughnuts on a stick) and then Dunkin.

We use riced cauliflower for jambalaya, (a little different taste, depends on how much hot sauce you add LOL) and cauliflower as mashed potatoes, especially in shephards pie and we can't really tell the difference. Also works well just as a side, rice and gravy or mashed potatoes and gravy.

Hot sauce is the key. Makes everything taste good!

I don't know those fancy smancy donut places...I have a little asian owned mom and pop donut place ver close to my house.
It's called DONUT!
I'm really thinking about walking over there right now.
Notice I said walk..I'll need to get extra steps in today if I cave for a damn donut!

He's 6' and looks like Mario Batali just with more brown hair (and curly) rather than the red
