He's been invited but I think he just reads over my shoulder (or like today I keep calling him in from the kitchen)...not sure if I've reached "you're getting on my nerves" or not.
Tell him to take a chill pill.
(if he starts complaining.)

Yes, I think so. A bloke on a forum used to dress up in chainmail and do sword fights, but I think that was more medieval than renaissance, but they do have "dressup things"
I don't cook much, I mostly just shove stuff into the slow cooker for stew/soup. I can do an ok roast, and a pretty good lasagna.
Last night, I went to the pictures, so I went to Ikea for tea/supper. They do $5 meals.
We don't really have Halloween here. They've sort of brought it in a little bit for the kids, but it's not a big thing everywhere, like it is in America. I don't have to dress up, my natural look is zombie/witch.
Do y'all do Guy Fawkes day instead of Halloween?

YES Agreed. So sad seeing the photo and videos of the islands and the people. Yesterday they were saying PR was running out of fresh water and food. Their inland reservoir is nearly empty. Hoping that supplies for all do not take too long. I know items are being shipped in, such a massive undertaking.
The Cajun Airforce is involved in attempting to bring supplies to PR, heard this on local news. (NOLA)

Notice I said walk..I'll need to get extra steps in today if I cave for a damn donut!
Best King Cake in New Orleans is from a Mom and Pop Vietnamese place call Dong Phuong's.

I made a King Cake a couple years ago for a Mardi Gras themed birthday party for a friend. I stayed up all night before the party babying that thing (Ha! No pun intended.) I was amazed that it came out so good! :drool I know, a southern California girl successfully making a King Cake seems about as likely as a guy named Dong Phuong doing it. Just goes to show you that miracles do happen.

My plans for the day.
I will spend a few hours this morning 'learning' on BYC then this afternoon I will 'get stuff done'......:lau

Sounds good right?

YEAH! RIGHT! Go ahead and pull the other one! PFFfffftt! :lau

I did try at one point to cook...but he hovers too much and removes items on me(especially when baking) to substitute, or was constantly making comments that it caused so many kitchen "fights" I just gave up. The stove and trash can are still dented from years ago where I tried to throw things at him. Luckily for him I'm a seriously bad aim.
The throwing thing is Italian...I'm sure my fellow Itals will appreciate that one. :lau

So many things I want to say. So many...

I hope y'all are happy together.

I'm going buy a box of them today!

:woot:woot

Don't buy just one box. You gotta get a box for the recipe, a box for the kids, a box for you, maybe a box for the husband, and a box for you. Once you have saturated the market, there MAY, I stress may, be enough to try your new recipe.

On the other hand, you can walk to the donut shop and buy one. Bring it home and put it on the counter. When that one is gone, walk to get another. At the end of the week, think of all the exercise you got. Wait, the donut shop isn't next door is it?

Red Heads are crazy.

Yeah, they are. They should fit right in. :frow
