Trying to catch up, but had to respond...
Oh, its totally his goal. Thing is, this time around, he was mostly polite to me, via text. With my eldest (his daughter from his first marriage) he was berating her, being rude, almost yelling at her for telling him to go through the letter of the divorce decree. He sounds like (via screenshots of her convo) that he's mad at her for not whole heartedly running to him now that she's an adult. She wants little to nothing to do with him, as the last time he spoke to her (she was 13) he made her cry and told her she wouldn't amount to anything because she lived with me. Hell of a Effing father there....
former Son in law is exactly the same kind of jerk.

Sorry about all of this... I kinda needed to blow off some of the steam... and I'd hoped yall wouldn't mind.
Glad you felt able to do so
Oh my... Sounds like someone needs to get hung from a post by his thumbs.
And cut off his skin, dip in alcohol and replace it...

Small green tomatoes are great pickled.
I have a great old fashioned recipe for green tomato pickle relish.

OMG, my daughter just messaged me and told me that the idiot threatened that he has my 1st husband in his pocket and that this custody battle is going to get ugly. I was married to my 1st husband back in 1997 and divorced in 2001. What is this guy going to be able to say that would have anything to do with the person I am today? IF he would get involved, which he wouldn't.
Document, document document. He is using her and hurting her as he does...he doesn't like the bed he made and is pulling chains. He will end up hanging himself in the process.

it is what it is. I think its bugging her more than me.... and she's in school. I doubt she'll block him... she'd have to be really pissed for her to do that... and he's good about poking wounds.... so maybe she will. Idk.
He sounds like a control freak....wants to control her emotions any way he can. Our Xsil showed up at granddaughters college to watch her game. When she tried to avoid him, he approached her car and said "you could at least say Bye since I'm still your dad." She rolled up her window and drove away...wants nothing to do with him. Her mom has alerted campus security.

Mornin y'all....
Well, in regards to my ex... I've come to a conclusion. If (and I stress 'If' as he's never had the testicular fortitude to do anything in the past) he decides to go to court and sue me for custody and/or visitation I plan on counter sueing for his parental rights. He's had nothing to do with his children in 11 years; never exercised his visitation rights. Why start now?
Additionally, my daughter told me last night that he told her he's thinking about trying it 'my way' first. We'll see what happens.

Now for a big cup of coffee!!!!!
