Well that's silly to begin with from what I've seen birds need to be added to the population anyway. We don't have pheasants around here but we do have bobwhites and they are dwindling. So good on your buddy free range on!:)
I have a friend who was in a fight with DNR. He isn't letting birds loose... He's free ranging his pheasants and quail.:thumbsup

Hi All! I haven't posted in a day or two, but I am the bearer of bad news (for the moment). We are forecast to be hit by a Category One Hurricane - Nate by this Sunday. What!?? It's a tropical depression at the moment, but projected to be a hurricane by Friday and to move into the Florida Panhandle by Sunday. At least we are prepared for a hurricane due to prepping for Irma.

Liz I'm so sorry:hugs
:hugs thanks
@DwayneNLiz do you know who the guilty is? Hovering hawk? dastardly dog? calling coyote? Neighbor's kid? Rascally Raccoon? Oppressive opossum?

That many sounds like a dog. So sorry. File a report for a livestock predator. Post flyers and we'll round up the posse!
Oh, so sorry, was afraid of that from the first post. Do you know what did it? So you can rid yourself of it. Don't know how many hens you had, hope you have some left to start over with. :hugs
no idea best guess is coyotes? I'm not good at predators
:hit:hugs:hit:hugs :hitCondolences.

And some could be in 'hiding' and show up for breakfast :fl

Hopefully Nate is just joking...and stays away.
