My kids keep trying to talk me into getting ducks, now that we have chickens. I think ducks are pretty and all, but I've heard about the mess they can/will make and That turns me off completely.

You should get some like mine then.

We have a small swimming pool, so ducks are out of the question. It came with the house when we bought it.

You know.....the kind you can go play with when you want...the ones that are just down the road.

OMG, Did you ever see the vid of the hundred or so ducks that came down and landed in somebody's pool? I can't get to youtube right now, or I'd go look for it. Can you imagine the mess that made?!?!

They will stay in their own water.

If hubby doesn't do some work on it soon, the ducks may land in it thinking it's a swamp!! As It is the night herons stand on the roof ridge of my house and watch the pool for fish! LOL

No cooking allowed until the pool gets cleaned.
