Hurricane Advice

kinda wondered as I know where Woodland is are they warning you may need to evacuate ? I pray your home is safe

So far Yolo County is free of Fires. We did have a silage fire last week but it stayed contained.

I am hoping that the weather will turn wet soon. We often start getting rain in October.

I can say, this is one thing I don't miss about living out west. I lived in Washington long enough that I got used to smoke haze. And then you think about it and you're 'used to smoke'. We had a fire that came w/in a quarter mile of the base... that was scary. Especially as I lived off base at the time.

The smoke is quite bad. This fire I did not see but about 20 years ago I watched one that was up in the sierras. It stretched for mile up there and you could see the glow for 50 miles or so

we had it bad here wind was going the wrong way but close to a week first rain we had oh about 2 weeks ago it finally did for 2 days
