One of the hens made a nest in the nest box!!!! Yeehaw! Buried the golf balls, swirled it around real good like. Looks very cozy. I pulled one of the golf balls out of the bottom hay and put it right in the middle.

And now we return you to your regularly scheduled programs with an update from Kiki's bathroom duck! Does DH know? Will he realize the rubber duck is a little more lively? Will he fall in love with the duck and go quackers? Tune in tomorrow!

You can blow the egg out and then cure in the microwave. Look it up the process.

I was asked to do this and ship the egg to the breeder that I got the hatching eggs from. It was for an Olive egger.

Taking a break from work and checked the news...should not have done that. CA wildfire situation looks out of control! Hubby was fretting over the Sonoma race track last night...I said heck with that! The wineries are devastated!!! But my thoughts are with all of those losing their houses, etc.
And then I see....Ophelia.....

But I think that's going away from the U.S.????

The fires are over a short mt. range from me. We had ash coming down today in town and there is smoke.
11 dead by last count and 100,000 thousand acres burnt. The winds pick back up tomorrow and Thursday--I hope there is more containment by then
