Another rooster on the nest video for Kiki when she comes around. I'm starting to think i might actually get an egg out of the boy.:)

I have a silkie roo that does this often. His wife was broody for the past 3 weeks so he was doing it even more than usual. More than once, he's spent the night on the nest that he's made. I bet, if I gave him eggs, he'd probably hatch them lol.

You ever see the hair dryer with the notice that says "don't use in the bath tub"? I always wondered how you would dry your hair in the bath tub. Really??? Now they have all those safety devices. Life is like a final exam. FINAL. You get one shot. Good luck! Some of you are going to need it.

Had a professor who handed out signed drop slips stapled to the FIRST test in the class. Quite a few were used. He told us, "if you don't use it today, save it. You will want to use it later." Haha. I passed Organic Chemistry the first time with a C+++
whats a drop slip?

A drop slip is for when you want to drop a class because you are failing it and don't want it to affect your GPA.

I never did it, but my kids are familiar with the concept. If I did it, I had to pay for the next time I took the class instead of my Mom and Dad paying for it.

When I worked on my Master's I for sure never did it because I paid for those classes myself! :)

Yep. If you took a full load, 21 semester hours, or more, you paid 1 price. I'd have to get department head permission to take over 21 hours. If I was struggling the first 3 weeks, one would go. I'd push the limits. Organic was one that pushed back and required for graduation. Took Country-Western Dancing and never got a date. Learned how to drink domestic "beer". I prefer Konig Ludwig Dunkel von Bavaria! Guinness works, too. Tap preferred.

Our department head wanted us to sign up at the college 2 hours away and take it there. The departments didn't like each other. Heh heh. I took it and passed because I did not want to drive 4 hours with my class mates. On the first attempt for both semesters with labs, I might add. Labs took a lot of time in class and writing up.

Got within sight of a biology double major. Unfortunately, I fell in love and didn't have time for all that silliness. I mean, fortunately. Saved me from a different life. Cell Biology along with other senior level classes are time consumers. Dropped that one. The pre-med study buddies were upset when they found out I bailed. Good times...

Glad I lived through it. Where has the time gone?

My DD was at the house one weekend and was shocked that my project for the day was cleaning out the dryer pipe. I use the lint as fire starter for the fire place. In her house she's got nearly 30' of dryer pipe.. She went home and went to work getting almost a pound of lent.:yesss:

Blah :sick We had to do that and probably have the same length of dryer pipe. I kept saying we need a new dryer....it wasn't drying. Hubby figured it was the pipe jammed with lint.
OMG that was so gross... :th
I will say it worked though! So new new dryer (yet).

And thanks @ RUnuts! You backed me up! Same thing with the fridge -wasn't cooling enough. I knew it was 10 years of cat hair. Hubby kept saying we need a new fridge....I knew it just needed a good vacuum. What I don't understand is how he knew about the dryer but was clueless about the fridge.
