OhGawd....wants to both ROFL and cry.

Normal reaction, I vomited everytime I saw my house for a couple months. Dr prescribed an anti emitic, so I could clean up and not have to vomit in the yard, 71 year old mom went once and had to pee in her backyard, we had to clean her house, cause she wouldn't go back til she had a bathroom to pee in. LOL

Maybe she ran out of TP also.

Having just spent two weeks on pack and hiking trips some inexpensive options for filters to keep around are the Sawyer Mini which is about $18 or the katadyn befree which is 40. When they don't have their water bags full they are very Compact and easy to store or carry.

I'm a huge fan of the burkey--but its pricey. I didn't trust the media hype--but was intrigued, so I bought the backpack version and ran water through it from a variety of dirty sources and then had it tested. When the results came back I got the family sized version.

I am unfamiliar with that one my big one is an MSR, but I like these easy portable ones especially for backpacking and riding a horse so I think they would go great in your bug-out bag. That is where one of mine is headed now that I'm done with this trip.

My 90 grandma just called to complain they haven't deliver her news paper yet in Sulphur LA.

I used to get that. There'd be 2' of snow on the ground, not counting drifts, and some misguided soul would complain 'cause the paper was late. No fixing stupid!

Yes the road to the store coming from my direction was OK. The same road on the other side is under water. I got TP! There was not a lot of stuff in the store. Zero meat, bread, eggs and milk. Zero. They were announcing that truck loads are on the roads it's just a matter of time to get to my store

So glad you at least got TP, lots of food is going to be coming your way. Do you have access to TV or Radio?
