I have a "garleek" that grows cloves as big or bigger than golf balls. Then red necked garlic, elephant garlic and "community" garlic. Each has its own look and flavor.
Not at my house! This year hubby and I are going to his sister's for Thanksgiving. Our girls will be with hubby's families.
Hubby has 4 different forms or arthritis and now takes Hysingla 30. It is a long acting hydrocodone that he takes one time in the morning.
This replaced the 8 to 10 Hydrocodone 10/7.5 he was taking a day just to get around. We go to a pain management Doctor once a month for his prescription. And he sees a rheumatologist every three months for his Arava. It is good to see him alert and active now.
Coming in late here, but no box stuffing/dressing in this house, since we don't have a dog, I guess I would be living in the hen house!Ok...Chef is saying (well texting from Kentucky) something similar to what Kiki posted regarding dressing vs. stuffing. It's a different recipe and it's done as a side. I've only ever known stuffing...although I guess you can consider Stovetop stuffing (in a box) dressing? I don't know...never liked the stuff. Homemade stuffing for me!!!
Sorry Kiki...Chef agrees with Bob...likes his recipe and has a similar one himself. I know he's got a big a** box of Kosher salt in the pantry...and I've seen him make the brine before. In a nonchef's opinion...it makes the turkey tasty and moist....more so than injecting it (Mom always did this and I think her turkeys were drier than Chef's)
Some times those are the best!It will just be us three a good happy meal
Last Thanksgiving we treated ourselves to a meal out (had never done this before and DH just wanted to) so DH, DD and I went out to a nice resturant. We all really enjoyed it, one of the best Thanksgivings we have had, just the three of us, cutting up and enjoying ourselves. Last Christmas we had friends who were moving, staying with us for two weeks and Christmas dinner was just the six of us at home, another really great time had by all. Nothing wrong with big family dinners, but sometimes the small ones with people we are close to are the best.We three BF, Son and me... James is my right arm here and is sweet as the day is long...
I just bought a package...all are about a pound in weight each...
Chicken hearts.
Chicken Livers ( I normally buy these for my chickens)
and Gizzards.
I have never used these things before (besides the livers for the chickens.)
How in the world am I to make a turkey gravy with them?
Do I need this much of each thing?
Do I cut them up really small?
HELP!
