Yeah, playing in the flood waters really not a good idea, tho I can see it happening just to relieve tension...but there could be all kinds of sh!t, literally and figuratively...not to mention the displaced critters....snakes and fire ants are foremost in my mind.

Here the kids bring out canoes, etc and paddle around when it is safe.

okay, I will have to sit and read a few pages to catch up. Just got back with the child, no flooding so far here, but still trying to decide what to do with the truck before it starts to rain again, as some parts of the city are having street flooding. Radio is talking about nothing but how we have been lied to by our mayor over and over again. So, how are ya'll holding up so far? Is everyone okay still?

There might be a bright side... Molds need air to grow, right now they'll just be drowning. It's after the rain stops that your clock starts.

Right the heat as well will spur mold growth after the rain quits--

Got the worst earache/sore throat of my life. I've just been sleeping.

hope you feel better, are you in the flooded area, have you been getting any regular sleep? Could be getting sick. Take care of yourself.
