@NorthTexasWink I've been meaning to tell you to tell your "company" that we are always at the Alvin skate park! We love it over there!

2 levies on the north side of Houston are "broken" the gauges and pumps have quit.It is? I've never been, but I'll mention it to them.
They have been/are releasing water from upstream. They are planning more releases, hoping to start slow and ramp up as needed to avoid compromising the dams and levees. Levels in Buffalo Bayou were receding but now on the way back up. Bunches of folks look to be getting on the roads but I'm afraid they'll get caught once the overflow release really starts up in larger volumes.
God All Mighty, everyone take care, preparing here, but still have you all in my thoughts and Prayers. And checking when I can. It's strange as I prepare here, I can't stop worrying about all of you. Feel helpless for you. I guess it's selfish, but I just wish there was something I could do.2 levies on the north side of Houston are "broken" the gauges and pumps have quit.
Cypress Creek and one other one just north of that one.
I made it through the night, again!
My city is screwed! Rivers are forecast to crest tomorrow, which is going to flood hundreds of thousands of more people out of their homes!!
