oh alright saw your post @campingshaws but pulled up the Cajun Navy let me know if I still need to post for her on facebook

I sure will. :) I have been texting her and let her know everyone was concerned. And I asked if they needed a supply drop from the Cajun Navy which is when she said to let them focus on rescuing for now. They're still doing fine so far, watching movies and being hilarious.

For our BYC poster from Ireland and Australia--- you are right about alligators.

Anyone who's been to the tourist attraction near Beaumont -- their two biggest alligators are in trailers.

The article has some good advice about the wildlife -- if you can leave them alone--they are just taking a breather. (hopefully) -- and they will leave. Watch for snakes in the water.

Check out the internet for things that you may not automatically think of in emergency-- you may have ice cubes in the 'fridge that you can melt for drinking water. They say that toilet tank (not bowl) water is relatively safe to drink. Wishing you all well, and the aftermath may be as bad as the storm as everyone tries to get back to normal and the rivers crest.
Take care y'all.
