A good food processor is a must. Mine get's used every day. I also used it to make all the granddaughter's baby food.

Here's where we get the knives and there are a variety of no cut gloves out there.

always made baby food and once they were tots they ate the same food we did ( had to spend some time cutting things into tiny pieces), but neither one is a picky eater either.

How do we figure out how to get in touch with her, bunch of smart people here, there has got to be a way americans are getting in touch with people they know in PR. Alright people we need to brain storm so some one can find out how she is doing. Sorry I am just hearing about the Maria track, and am a little panicy for her.

Ideas anyone, is anyone close enough to have more personal info like an address that they could write to her or a phone number they could call or text. We don't need to know personal info. just that she is okay and a way to know the same if Maria goes that way. Our Lady of Prompt Succor hasten to help our friend Maria.

79-80 degrees here in Delaware....either very sunny or it clouds over - like right now. Looking at the latest projection, I'm only worried about wind damage (tree/tree branches falling, coop roof flying off). I don't expect flooding in my area - maybe the beach area. I noticed one of my neighbors has already taken everything down off of their deck, etc. I will probably wait and see how bad gusts are either Tues/Wed to determine whether to haul in chickens to the shed or house. We have a "Florida" room which is built onto the house and they would hang out there - for all of you picturing me watching TV with chickens sitting on a couch or lazy boy, etc.

I did speak with one of our neighbors - originally from PR, and our nurse and housekeepers at work (all from PR) and they were saying their families were all safe and sound and that a lot of the reports were worse than the situation actually was. It probably depends on area though. I do know our nurse supervisor has already or is getting her elderly mother this weekend and bringing her up here.
