Um...you should...I believe there is a Texas community. There was a documentary on Rumspringa and I believe they highlighted a Texan community....I could be wrong. I kinda watched it in disbelief since I am in an area with Amish and I had no clue this was a thing.

I found out in 2005, when I had to give a tetnus shot to a young man on Rumspringa who was in MS to help out. Poor guy looked like I was trying to Kill him, literally. I think about it often and wonder if I did the right thing. (had to be done from medical end, but I still wonder how it effected his religious beliefs) I know they are suppost to be experiencing the "English" world, but it seemed disrespectful to his religious beliefs.

I don't know if DE sent any medical team to PR. I remember we did during Katrina. I worked for a hospital back then and they assembled a medical team to head to LA.

I have heard of people, here on BYC mentioning to get the Amish to help build coops or get the Amish to help with this or that.
We have Mexicans for that down here.

I have not tried the cherry moohshine with bluebell. Dang it. Now, I will have to get a 1/2 gallon of bluebell in the name of science.
