Hurricane Advice

First change I made in the new house was to add a 5 burner gas stove with convection oven and a new fridge with ice maker.:celebrate
perfect!

I also have a convection toaster oven. It is great to use on hot days. It fits 9x13 pans

I agree, stove must be gas, I had three things I insisted on when we had to rebuild in 2005, a gas stove, a gas on demand hot water heater and gas lights on my front porch. DH threw in the ability to use gas or electric dryer in laundry room.
Penny, you always keep us guessing with your avatars. This one is especially cute. I bet you are one tough bird, would want you on my side in a battle!!!
Although we are on a highway 2.8 miles east of a town, we still do not have natural gas. I would prefer a gas stove, but electric it is. when the power goes off due to ice, etc, we have a propane fire place for cooking. I'm looking into putting in a propane stove when I redo the kitchen.
Need to go butcher some ducks BBL.

Are you taking pics of the process?

My Mom has that and she loves it, I find it fairly easy to cook on as well. Like it better than electric. Don't know why, just never could adjust to electric.
I hated electric--but was too expensive to convert to gas. Basically, demo the basement ceilings to run the pipes.

I'm sure you could have done it.
