Great Vids:thumbsup

Yeah that's my talker, he's the only rooster now. Such a weird guy, just plopped down beside me and hung out. I'm not complaining at least he isn't terrible just weird. :)

Love it when they do that:love

Are these male or female?

I'm thinking mine is a female??

I'll go with whatever @Pyxis says--but I know my friend uses hens to protect his chickens and have no idea why.

@KikisGirls I just read back through a bit, is your gander chasing and attacking you? Time to show him who's boss.

Great thread:thumbsup

Yeah he drinks coffee and beer but he doesn't like soda. I don't purposely give him any of it he's a drink thief. He's never more than arms length away if I'm outside so if I put it down for a second he's in it, trots away if I catch him but he's got that beard so he's busted either way.

I have a friend who's DW rescued a couple of fawns, turned out to be bucks. They prefer to steal crown royal for their drinking pleasure. It's hilarious to watch a 6 point buck drink out of a crown glass:lau

Geeeze... In the time I typed my post we had three pages of posts.:th

Ok... DW has decided that the new RIWs are way too affectionate. And I'm finding it hard to walk in the pasture with them under foot. Once I get a pic I'll post it, but they are very happy to perch on us. DW isn't so much into being a perch. As we were leaving the pasture this evening, I had one on each shoulder. And they do peck a LOT.

So far so good...Mr. Goose hasn't made it to land yet. :yesss:

kiki just teach him who's boss! Had a roo (my best looking one) challenge me one day. I snatched him up, put him under my arm and petted him until he submitted. Then I put him down and all the other roos challenged him. He absolutely will not challenge me anymore. He did challenge DW and she did the same and now when he sees her he runs.
