I see from your signature that you have Delawares. Do you breed them to each other or do you breed them as a cross? Recently I saw some information that said pure Delawares were virtually extinct and what was left was just 1st generation crosses of the two founding breeds. That doesn't sound right---it's an APA accepted breed, after all.

I have three flocks thus far. I'm trying to breed to the sop. But it has its challenges.

Yes. SPN is focusing on Dels. I'm focusing on RIWs and hollands.

The question is if he could find any good ones that their owners were willing to part with.

Still not sure what I have. They need to grow up a bit first.
