I'm guessing I might end up skinny if I had to live on those type portions.
NO Leftovers.....heck no.
What would the Mexican take to work?
I would die.
I over cook as it is.

I always over cook when I make one of my own recipes. But with a 14 yr old boy, if its good, he will polish it off. LOL. But that's alright, at least I know he's eating. lol

"What would the Mexican take to work?" I thought the same thing, Hubby would think I was POed at some unknown thing and trying to starve him. LOL :lau

with a teenage boy, I'm relieved if I don't have leftovers... LOL Half the time he or his sister will look in the fridge, even if there's leftovers, and close the door saying there's nothing they want in there.
I can remember doing this same thing as a kid. Used to drive my mom nuts complaining there was no food when it was really full to the brim with good leftovers.

We tried blue apron. Some things were neat and kept. Others were "really?" Not worth the cost because of the portion size. I can cook 4 times the amount for the same effort and eat for 3 days. At work or home. It is all good. Got me to play with new ingredients. And the way they say prepare it, they must have a maid for clean up.

Kiki - that pumpkin storage chart, is that for homegrown pumpkins or pumpkins that have been sitting in the church yard for 6 weeks? I'm finding brown spots on mine and don't think they will last 2-3 months on the counters. I also don't have frig room for 4 large pumpkins, unopened. They are pretty as the table center piece. No place to eat, but they are pretty.

When I returned from college, Mom complained. She said she had leftovers and no one was eating them. Apparently, I was the frig clean out crew. She had to learn how to cook again just for her, Dad and my 2 sisters. Brother had left for college also.

She thought it was funny that I walked in, hugged her and went to the frig. Hey, I'm hungry!

We actually just left Blue apron. They kept missing orders, or they'd be late. We really like the convenience of the meals planned out and ready, so we found another service. I have to say, with blue apron, I got really tired of kale, and yea... we had bread show up moldy.
