Thanks all! The encouragement is greatly needed.

I’m not fully decided but i think I’m going to keep the wooden deck. I don’t really like it but it’s too much work to take it out to be honest. More pictures next time I work on it.

Still brainstorming door ideas. I already have a frame, surely it’s not that hard..

By the way, we have a lot of pine trees if you couldn’t tell. Is there a predator resistant netting that won’t collect pine needles for the roof..? I don’t even know how that would work. Maybe if I put a higher support in the middle and make it like a tent so the majority could slide off. Or just high enough so they don’t touch your head weirdly when you walk through the run.

Another question; your homeowner's insurance? Farm insurance? My outbuildings, including my coop, are on the policy, and when a tree fell and damaged the coop roof, it was covered. Any hope there?
