Rather not say!
Hi! I'm new here.
I am not sure if anyone has had any experience with this, but my chicken was attacked by a fox in April and survived. She had a few bite marks that we took care of, but she has been limping since, and it pretty unbalanced. Should I take her to the vet? We splinted her leg but it did not do much for her. She is still laying eggs!

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. This is a great place to explore and hang out.
Your fortunate she is well enough to lay,
I agree the vet would charge you then say self limiting on the leg.

If anyone is able to help or give me advice, I would be grateful!

:welcome At this point, I doubt there is much a vet could do for her. If she is well enough to lay eggs, I would just let her be.
The thing is that my other chickens bully her when she is outside, so I have her in my basement now. I'm concerned that this will affect her quality of life.

Welcome!

Do the other chickens excessively pick on her? If not and her bum leg doesn't seem to bother her or prevent her from enjoying life I wouldn't worry about it. She's laying eggs, not seeming stressed... I'd say she's still enjoying a chicken life other hens' would be jealous of

Give yourselves kudos too. Love really does help animals get better just like people. You must be some mama!
