This guy and I have been seeing more of each other lately. He went out riding with me yesterday, although it's been almost 20 years since he's been on a horse, he tried riding my Izzie horse and honestly didn't do too bad. He helped me hose the horse and pony down too.

Before we had dinner, I asked if he usually said grace before a meal. He looked surprised that I asked and said he usually doesn't, usually does his own prayers for everything at the end of the day. After a moment of silence, he said it was very nice of me to ask. Even though I expect him to respect my beliefs, I will certainly respect his in return.

He said he was a little nervous about getting involved in a relationship again but says that he's over that now. He wants to take it slow, which I want to as well.

He and I have spent quite a bit of time together recently, only bad thing is ... he works 2 jobs and his "night" job had only been 1 or 2 nights a week, which was why we were able to see one another so much. Now they have him on 5 nights so I'm not sure how much we'll see each other now. He doesn't particularly like that job or hours and he would quit if he could. The challenge for me now is to be patient and understanding. At least I'll be off for the summer soon and my schedule will be more flexible.
