My hubby sometimes says things like that. I have to look beyond his simple way of trying to tell me how he feels by picking on something I like. I think hubby is trying to say, I want more time with you. Or he's saying I feel unappreciated lately................. or something to that affect. They can say childish things, but most men have not learned or been allowed to say what they are feeling. Heck most don't even know how they really feel. Tell him it really hurts you when he says those things and ask him what is upsetting him. We all say things we don't truly mean, but learning to hear what the other is saying takes a lot of practice.

When I read posts like this, wives complaining about their husbands, I realize how lucky my wife is to have someone perfect like me. She should bake me a chocolate cake in gratitude for my being faultless. I bet I could get a younger one... hmmmmmmmmmm... maybe a young heiress with lots of money... Maybe a young heiress with lots of money who'd like my chickens... Maybe a young, volumptuous, beautiful heiress with lots of money who'd like my chickens and would buy me a Mercedes Benz SL500... That's it! I'm dumping that old woman. What are you talking about? She's gorgous. Didn't you know moldy green skin and snow white hair with a hooked nose are all the rage this season? The plastic surgeons can't keep up the damand for hag style nose jobs. Under that make-up she looks just like Tyra Banks....

I'm not a sexist person, BUT! MY wife is the one who complains all day and night about money and the animals.

she doesn't work, and is still in school, and honestly I am tired of hearing how "men are no good" when some women are no better, I do not spend money like no tomorrow, she does.

I work to bring the money /I/ need to get /MY/ animals fed, plus anything I or my baby need, I spend more money on baby stuff nowadays than buying books or video games like I used to (though I've been given "permission" yay

) to buy the next warriors book when I get payed, I don't work the best job because I dropped out of school, big whoop

, but it's still MONEY.

I try my best, as most men do, all alot of men want when they work all day long with jerk bosses and idiot coworkers is to come home and relax, NOT be complained at.

I've got my hobby and it's not going anywhere, but I think that if a woman or man or whoever says they care about an ANIMAL more than their spouse, even fighting, then they arn't any good to have around.

well i don't have a boyfriend or a husband, but i do have a dad. he is always complaining about how i care too much about animals, though i fail to see where thats a bad thing. he told me i had to do more, so i said i've been trying to get them to take me to a horse rescue for months so i can volunteer, and he said he meant with friends. but friends aren't like animals, animals love you no matter what and don't judge, so i'd rather pick animals. also, when i do get a guy sometime, and he tells me its him or the animals, its time for him to pack his bags! i loved them first so he better accept them or he won't have me anymore. thats just the way its gotta work.
