We are Donna and Mark from kent, England.
We have had chooks for 3 years now.
We are lucky enough to finally have the space to have our own girls in an unused aviary in the back garden and be able to freerange too.
We rescued 3 ex-bats who stole are hearts, though only one is still with us..
Daisy and Rosie both taken with peritinitus/tumors issues. Even more reasons to never eat mass produced eggs ever again. They both have a special place under their favourite tree.
Which left Poppy alone.. we need to act quickly to not leave her alone too long so, decided on adding 2 point of lay pulleys to our family - Mabel (Yorkshire blue) Maisie (Blubelle). Poppy being a ginger nut ranger..and top of the pecking order!
We have 4 cats who know their place with the girls.
Anyhow, that's us. Hi to all.
