Hybrid Pheasants

Pics
I have a question, any help would be appreciated.

How do you know if your birds are "pure: I have several pairs of reds, yellow and amherst (inseperate pens), their color (appearence) is correct, they all have produced chicks the last 2 seasons and the chicks are colored "corectly". The chicks (now grown) have produced young, if these "chicks" are correctly colored, can I assume my birds are "PURE"?

quick question ? :) so someone is sending me eggs from a red golden and a ringneck pair. sounds like this mutation will be infertile correct ? also what if the one chick that hatches and grows up looking red goldenish and real pretty and i breed it back to a red golden that i pure breed do you think i can get nice chicks or are they infertile also ? thanks for your time :)

Thought it was time to update the hybrid category. All of these are still coloring-out...they're only about 1/2 way in. There are 9 different pheasant breeds represented here. Some are 3 different breeds, some are 4. The blinders on some are necessary for their protection since they are very aggressive towards each other. None of these birds will EVER be available for sale for anyone's breeding purposes. Enjoy!
