hi guys — my duckling finally hatched (Lone Ranger, others didn’t make it ... it was a rescue egg that had been cold for almost 2 days). I’m tired and it’s almost 1am here. Is it okay to leave him in incubator overnight? Should I adjust temp. Still around 99.5-100 and 65-70 humidity , I haven’t added any more water. I did open the one air hole for circulation. He’s fluffing nicely. I have brooder ready but was going to transfer in morning until rescue can come collect him.

Leave him in the incubator till his feathers are dry then move him into the brooder. That would be the best option. Otherwise it would be okay to leave him in the incubator
