Hello! This roo has been a renegade for awhile. A kind soul captured it but can’t keep it, so I’m adopting him. He looks like a barred rock to me, what is your thoughts?

He does look a little odd.

Barred rocks have single combs and yellow legs, along with a much fuller body. This guy is a mix of some sort.

He might be an especially scrawny Cuckoo Marans, especially if he's a rescue. His comb looks to be single, just frostbitten. If not pure Cuckoo Marans, then Marans mix

He is not scrawny...he is tall, legs and beak are a blush pink. Single comb that is thicker than I’ve ever seen. I have named him Jethro.

He's a mix. My first thought was maybe some type of gamefowl mix, but who knows for sure? I hope he works well in your flock and thanks for rescuing him!
