In my years of keeping chickens I’ve never hatched eggs. i have always added to my flock buy purchasing day old chicks, but honestly it isn’t the same as watching them hatch right in front of you. I’m considering maybe hatching this year or next spring. I’m very interested in the Cream Legbar, for their pretty blue eggs, auto-sexing, and patterns. But I need help determining where to buy my eggs, what incubator to use and what other breeds to consider! I really would appreciate first-time hatching tips, and anything else you can tell me about it. Like i said, I’m only considering this and with 2020 being what it is, I might not do it at all, however I am highly considering it snd I would really like help from experienced BYC members!
