First I bid on an auction for 40+ Heritage RIR eggs and for some strange reason, I also put in a bid on 40 Delaware eggs. Well, I won the RIR eggs and they should have shipped today or tomorrow. Now the Delaware eggs still have a couple days left but I am the high bidder. I'm going to be in troubbbblllleeee

No the weather there has been really fair for Alaska. Her region has had little snow no subzero temps.

Eskimo Chickens with extra downy warmth! Raised on seal blubber so the eggs stay stay warm in sub zero temps.

Ducklover1,

Those crested ducks look like they were wearing wigs. At the show I went to over the weekend to see what goes on in one they had 2 crested ducks that looked like they stole grandma's hairdo. They were both cute n funny looking at the same time. The call ducks at the show were adorable.

Rats, I wish I would have gotten to meet you there at the show.
OK, I'm gonna brag a little here(OK, a lot)-some of those adorable Call ducks were mine.

I find it funny how addicting hatching eggs can become. After hatching hundreds of little chicks the past several months, I finally turned my incubator off on Newyears day. After listening to my wife constant bickering about haveing to feed and care for all those chicks and how we dont have room for any more, SHE suggested that maybe we should hatch a few more. All of our birds seem to be laying at full capacity and shes giving eggs to everybody she can think of. We have about 75 or so chicks of varying ages already in the brooder house, eggs freezing in the laying boxes before we can get them out. Electric bills going thru the roof from all the heat lamps, and Now SHE is wanting to hatch some more chicks. Good Grief!!!. ( after much argueing about how we really didnt need too hatch anymore chicks for awhile, I snuk around behind her back and plugged the bator back in the otherday and will probably fill it up again this wkend just to make her mad)
