I accidentally bought whole kernel corn

I had a rodent mix ( for pet rodents, not wild!

) and fed some to my chickens. It has whole corn kernels. They snubbed it and didn't eat it. They tried, but was it too big? I just ended picking it out and feeding the grain pelllets, dried fruit, and sunflower seed etc. I put the kennels in the tree feeder and the squirrels got it! Good to know they like popcorn, my DH is in love with that stuff. I will have to get him to make extra and feed to the chickens. Btw.. neither here nor there, I am excited! I got my first Mille Fleur today. They are really pretty!

I give my chickens uncooked and cooked corn on cob. I have never had any issues. In fact they seem to have fun with it on the cob!

I do that too, but this was feed corn, not sweet corn. They seem ok with it. The only one that doesn't like it is my spoiled slightly cross beaked turkey.

They'll eat it just fine. It's normally cracked for better feed conversion, but uncracked corn is still food to them.
