just to be clear, we already had two hens and two chicks from the same breeder that we got these last two from...i am too tender-hearted to take a single chicken from her home.
we got them today...the glw is sooooo docile and hides under the ee's wings tho they are the same age! lol...she let me hold and pet her several times. can't get near the other hens! the ee fit right in but the glw fought and lost with one of the bl hens. they picked on her a bit all day as they foraged, but they roosted together no problem tonight.
one interesting thing...the ee and one leghorn took the top roost and the glw and other leghorn took the lower roost right next to them (a wall that retains the deep litter from falling out the pophole). i had figured the leghorns would roost higher!
