I'm on Safari. I restarted the app and it still happened. Only on mobile, tho, as far as I know.

looking closer, I see that it only happens on threads that have an even amount of messages by tens (210, 40, 660, etc.). It's not as weird a problem when I see it that way, but it's still slightly odd

Yes, but that will post it within the same thread. We were trying to figure out how the quote was moved to a different thread from where it was originally posted.

When you hit '+quote' it pastes it to a clip board,
then under the reply box there is an 'insert quotes' button.
It's confusing at first, but play with it and you'll finger it out.
You can still edit the quotes in your reply both before and after you 'post reply'.

I open other thread/posts in a separate window to quote from other threads.
Am on laptop tho.

Pay no attention to my last post...
I was just trying it out.

So when you are reading a post...click the +Quote button...
then go to the new thread where you want to share it and in the little section you are about to type THIS message click on the MORE OPTIONS button...then click Insert quote...it opens on a new page in my browser...(safari)
