I am not a builder!

Nadine, that's an incredible job!!
It's so great that we're going to copy your work--that's how great it is

Don't sue me, ha!!

We purchased a homemade coop from someone looking to rehome their 2 birds, but DH needs to build a run. Our coop looks very similar to yours but with a peaked roof. It's movable but I think we'll make it a permanent structure instead.

What did you use for the roof over the run??

Winniegirl,
for the roof over the run I put the wire across it and then used the corrugated roofing from Lowe's. It was like $10 a sheet for 3x8'. I put it on the roof of the coop, too. I have plywood on the roof but wanted extra protection.
I like the run to be covered since this will be out in open fields around the farm. This is the first one I have done totally by myself. Well, okay, a little help from DH but not very much.
Here is a photo of the underside of the run.

I'm not sure if you can see the corrugated stuff well here or not. In all the times it has rained I have been well pleased that the birds get to stay out and peck around and not get too wet unless it is blowing in sideways.

And goodness, please do improve on my design. There is still a lot I would change but I am not a good enough builder to be able to get it done. But I had a fun time trying and the birds are happy.
