I am out of feed...

They also love love noodles, not very nutritious for them but it is fillin for their bellies for a filler.
All my chickens go nuts for any type of noodles.

These are the things I use when I run out of feed..

Noodles
Cheerios
Rice (brown is best but white will do if you dont have brown)
Corn
Eggs
burrito wraps chopped into pieces
grapes

Now is a good time to clean out your cabinets and see if you have any old mac an cheese thats outdated, lol! Mine love it but with limited cheese in it.
Also I cleaned out my freezer and instead of throwing old meat or pot pies or any of that away, I cooked it up for the girls.
They really go for those warm pot pies on cold chilly days! And to think I was going to throw them away.

Y'all believe what you want. I have always fed my chickens raw potato peels and scraps from the table with no ill effects. Their main food comes from a local mill that grinds their on all natural feed. But when we have stale cereal or chips or bread or left overs from cooking they also get that too. That's why I don't post that much because everyone wants to argue with you about what you do with no proof

From my understanding its only the GREEN potato peels that have the toxin in them...the brown are fine to feed. I feed mine brown potato peels all the time too...

This sounds fine to me. I give my girls these things for treats sometimes. You could also give srambled eggs. I just make them in the microwave and then stir in the crushed shells for extra good measure. I do that sometimes if I have too many eggs in the fridge.
