I am over weight and having a melt down :'(

Oh, gosh I would but don't got my camera on me, I will later on tonight though if everyone really would like to see how bad I look.

By no means are you over weight. Don't worry so much if you are so young like that. Just eat healthy and get some exercise. Size 16!!! Ok I eat unhealthily, am 5'2" and about 145 lbs. I am over weight... yet I only wear size 9 pants. No offense but are you sure you aren't wearing childrens/pre-teen pants?

Oh my gosh! Don't post pics of yourself at that age for your own good. Don't fuss over your weight so young. Drink lots of milk, eat protein, get your veggies and let your body grow. Dieting at such a young age will set you up for a weak body later in life. It is a time to build up now, not try to lose weight! Who told you that you were overweight? those BMI things aren't even applicable to non adults... or alot of adults anyways!

Just don't eat so much fast food and stuff like that and enjoy life!
 
Now that we know that you're 13. You really should let your body just do it's thing. Eat sensibly, stay involed in sports at school and keep active. IE No tv until an hour before bedtime, etc. Don't dig yourself a hole where you end up having eating disorder and obsess about this. Enjoy your teen years!

Pilattes are also a good excercise.

You can get them on dvd at Wal-Mart low impact as well.

They work on toning your body.

You are right the water arobics does have "Old people."

But my 13 year old and her friend go with me and they LOVE it and the "old" people LOVE having young people around them and are very sweet all of us!!

Rollerblading is also really good my 13 year old goes and skates every night and takes our Aussie/Border Collie with her. Just make sure you wear wrist braces!!!!!! That is the most common brake when/if you crash!
 
Sugar is not your friend!!! Drink more water and less soda and keep candy and other junk food to a minimum.

Don't obsess over your weight at this age. It is good to want to be healthy though. I wish I would have listened when everyone told me that once you hit 18 and older MOST women gain weight faster. I'm 5'9" and at 17 was 110...that has changed. I'm not fat but I'm not tone. I've changed my diet to more chicken and fish instead of pizza and hot dogs.

I have to have my fried chicken every once in a while though.
