I am over weight and having a melt down :'(

Aww, ya every one has to get soft on there diets every once and a while I am not going to go anarexic believe me, I can't go without a day complaining to my dad saying "Lets go get some food already!" I will definatly take up on your guys advice on some DVDS, But be for warned my dad may say I am crazy and weird wanting to buy a aerobics videos.

I agree with the others - you are definitely not overweight.

I have used exercise videos for 15+ years, and they are my strategy for staying fit. It never rains inside, and nobody can see you sweating and huffing and puffing.

Do you have a library near you? That is a great way to try new exercise videos without spending anything at all. If you are interested in aerobics, try the ones by "the firm". If you want try yoga, try the series by Bryan Kest (it is a good power yoga workout, and he is really easy on the eyes - but don't tell Barg I said so

).

I get bored easily, and trying new videos all the time is how I stay motivated.

Love to go to the library but lost my card 2 years ago and sence I am under age to get one it was in my moms name and she passed away last year. And I dont think my dads in the mood to fill out paper work at the library tonight. So I will probaly end up giving you guys and update around 8:30-9:00 When we go to the store, can anyone give me some advice on which videos I want to tone my ab's, thighs, and last but not least my GIANT booty!.

At your age, I would suggest concentrating on not dieting but eating healthier. Avoid sugars, drink more water, no sodas and limit juices. Grab your bike and ride 15 minutes a day or walk. In other words, develop a life long health plan you can stick with and Honey, by the time you are 16 you will be gorgeous. Trust me.

120? you are not fat. you are 13. live like a kid. you will stretch out - but i highly doubt you are fat. chase the chickens around, walk your dogs. you are fine. now go off and start acting like a kid - you are gonna miss it when you are older.

Interesting. I wonder why. They can all be modified to use different step heights, different weights, etc. There are dozens of videos and some are harder than others. I retract my reccomendation of them for a youngster, but they are great for me.

*sigh* Yes, everything changed when I hit 22--everything "dropped"....*SIGH*

Hon, these are called curves--women get them. It seems like your whole body is falling apart and getting all mushy and soft--all due to your lovely neighborhood hormones. Your butt will all of a sudden get HUGE and you'll look in the mirror and go :

! "What is that stuck on my back???" You will get boobs!

. Your hips will stick out (and from personal experience, I still under-estimate how big mine are and run into things

) These are all normal changes!

For many years, I thought I was fat (mostly because I was told so by my abusive father and ex-fiancee) and I developed an eating disorder. Don't go down that path. It's so not worth it--you are beautiful the way you are, right now!

13 is just an awkward stage, and your body is going through SO many changes. Throw away the scale, and focus on being healthy--eat lots of veggies and fruit. Do ride your bike and go for walks--but don't stress! I wish I could find a picture of me when I was 13; LOL!

The best thing you can do is accept yourself for who you are, and take confidence in your beauty, inside and out.

I just wish your mom was here to tell you all these things
