I am pretty sure my hen has worms, natural treatment?

No one is laughing at anybody. We take worm issues seriously. Worms can and will eventually cause death in a chicken. You want to hit them hard and fast. They suck the life out of chickens by starving them to death, a slow death. They also weaken the birds immune system opening the door for all kinds of diseases.

Okay, lets try not to argue about this. I will start weighing her, but any ideas as to why she wouldn't be gaining weight and her crop would be completely empty? Any ideas as to what else is going on?
Try giving her plain boiled white rice mixed with buttermilk. Buttermilk is a much better probiotic than yogurt, it also coats intestinal lining. The boiled rice helps settle the digestive tract and besides, they look like maggots and chickens scoff it up.

Awesome thank you! I think we will have leftover rice tonight that I can give to her, and I think I have a whole pint go Buttermilk I need to use. Thanks so much!

Have you seen her eat?
The number one reason for an empty crop is not eating.

Weighing them is probably the most helpful diagnostic tool one can have. You said she's on day five of the wormer, yes? How much did you give her?

I gave .23ml per pound which calculated to 1.15 since she weighted 5 pounds. I couldn't find 1.15 on the syringe, but I read in the thread that was kinked here that some people round up to .25ml without issues. So that is what I did. I got 1.25, and did a little less then 1 and a 1/4 on the syringe, since I rounded up.

I wormed for 5 days, and finished the worming cycle a few weeks ago. Hope this answers you question! I will defiantly weight her tomorrow, and get you the results. Thanks so much for all the help everybody!
(I actually have a bum foot right now from my horse falling while ridding, so its more difficult to get out to the coop. I will have help tomorrow, and can get that done.)

So she weighed 5 pounds a few weeks ago? What is her current weight?
I didn't get to weight her today, but I will defiantly do that tomorrow. All I know is that I have not seen her eat, before I hurt my foot when I picked her up, she didn't feel like she was gaining weight, and he crop was completely flat and empty at 3 in the afternoon.
I will have help tomorrow and can definitely weigh her. Thanks for all the help!
