I am wondering the same thing? Do I have a New Hampshire and a RIR????

I will have to take some pics of the saddle feathers. I was just out there checking them out. I can't tell. My husband says I should just wait, we will find out sooner or later by crowing. Today the "possible New Hampshire had a new behavior when I feed them. She allowed the other ladies to eat, and just walked off. I don't know if that is a roo behavior this young, or if she is getting ill, or if I am being a totally obsessed new chicken owner.

Oh, I just posted my reply as a new thread, lol. Anyway, the black girl is NOT an Aussie? She is just a mix. My friend who I got her from only has Marans roos. So, her mom is a guess. :) I will have to send pics of the feathers to get your opinion. My hubby said I need to chill, we will know soon enough if they crow. I was out there looking at them this morning. I noticed that my production possible New Hampshire (Graciella) did not come running to eat, but rather stood off and allowed the other ladies eat. Not normal for her. Is this possible Roo behavior? Or she is just not hungry? Or getting sick? She looks fine otherwise.

I really hope I do not have two Roos. We would have to find a home for them. Our neighbors would not be happy. Plus I don't want my kids to get attached to them. However we did explain that this could be a possibility. Ok, maybe I don't want to get attached too.
