7 weeks old black frizzle. Roo or pullet?
I'm gonna say pullet for now.

7 week old frizzle cochin
Most likely a pullet.

7 week old frizzled cochin. Roo I think
I'm not sure, please post again in a couple weeks.

I've always been a little suspicious of one of my buff orpingtons and now i am just a little concerned the it may not be a hen. went to do a head count and found that feathers are developing on this one and not the others, at least not yet. I am hoping she is just maturing a little faster and perhaps they are adult feathers. i can get more photos of the flock tomorrow.

Is it a roo? Anxiously awaiting . . .

How old is it?

Could you work out what sex these 3 week old chicks are, also unsure of the breed of chick #1

#1 breed began with an A? Lays blue or green eggs? Significantly less feathered and not as big or tall.

I've posted these photos once before but now that they are a bit older at almost 18 weeks, i am hoping for some reassurance that i have all hens and no roos. i've posted 12 photos, 2 of each of my 6 darlings.
this is piper. this one is of most concern.

Frizzle roo? 5weeks old
Too young

My daughter got these from her class after they hatched the eggs. No idea on the breeds of these. They are almost 12 weeks old. Would love to know if they are roos or pullets and if anyone has a guess on their breeds that'd be awesome too! I don't know alot about chickens but I'm learning as I go and they are loved alot by my kids and me! :)View attachment 1100741 View attachment 1100743 View attachment 1100749 View attachment 1100741 View attachment 1100743 View attachment 1100749 View attachment 1100751

These are 3 months old. They were all 4 supposed to be pullets but the lady I purchased from called and said there may be roosters in the hen house! Lol. Suggestions?
The ones with red wattles are cockerels.

The lady also told me if they weren't crowing at 3 months old then they aren't roosters. I haven't heard them crow yet.
That is not true

Anyway to tell if this is a he or she? 7 1/2 weeks old
Im thinking pullet, but it's still pretty young.

Hello
I have 3 Easter Eggers. They must be around 2,5 months now. I am pretty sure I have 1 pullet and 2 cockerels. I definitely think the cream one is a cockerel, the brown a pullet and the other white one, I am not too sure. Please, can you confirm with me? Also, if I take the two cockerels away will the 1 pullet going to go crazy. Can i introduce another ( hopefully) pullet to the 2,5 month pullet? Thank you
I think I see two cockerels and a pullet (the brown one).

I got these two yesterday. They are about one month old.

A little bit too young, but I don't see any obvious cockerels yet.

Well.... Hansel is certainly looking more and more rooster-like as the week has developed.
This is the Polish I was asking about... now 13-15 weeks old
View attachment 1101816 View attachment 1101824

And now my little white Silkie is appearing roo-ish with possible streamer feathers in his crest
Thoughts? He may still be too young.... also around 13-15 weeks. My other Silkie (blue, not pictured), is smaller, coiffed bob all permed up, and such...
View attachment 1101819 View attachment 1101830
The polish is a cockerel. I'm not sure about the silkie.

View attachment 1101906 View attachment 1101907 Hello hoping you can help me sex my buff laced polish chicks. They are 5 weeks and 3 days. Neither one are showing signs of wattles at this point. I can only keep hens at my place and I am so attached to both of them!!! Thanks'nn

I have six four week old pekin bantam chicks, three of them frizzles. I'm hoping someone can identify the cockerels for me. Thanks in advance!

The ones with red combs are the only obvious cockerels so far.

Despite the fact this 7 week old frizzle has a redder comb and the start of waddles, it acts like a female. Do we still think it's a cockerel? I have googled images of white frizzled bantam hens and they do have really red combs and waddles.
Could you post again in a couple weeks? I'm leaning toward cockerel.

I'm guessing roo? 7 week old silkie. The crest just started coming in.
I'm leaning toward cockerel, but I'm not very good at sexing silkies.

These Doms are 8 weeks old. Are they hes or shes? The pinking has me concerned for cockerels... thank you! The first 2 pics are one bird, and the last two are a second bird.
Pullets

I have 8 Old English Game bantam chicks. The first 7 are 6 weeks old and the last one is 8 weeks old. Could you please tell me their gender? Thank you.

This is Blanche. I'm hoping she's a she.
Roughly 4 months old. She was fully feathered when I got her and he wasn't sure on age.
Thoughts?
