I posted a couple of weeks ago with pics of my 5 silkies. It was thought that only #5 was looking like a rooster and the rest looked like they could be pullets. I'm looking for an updated opinion since they are a bit older. Thank you!!
I think #5 is probably a cockerel and #3 is possibly a cockerel.

Good morning everyone!

I need help with this Easter Egger. It is 10 1/2 weeks old...and I swear I heard he/she try to crow this morning. In my next post I'm going to put up pictures of all of the chicks that others have said are cockerels just to get second and final opinions. Thank you all for expertise!

Cockerel

Cockerels

6wk old blue splash Americauna. Any guesses if this one is a boy or girl?
Looks like a pullet so far.

Help! :) Do I have a Rooster or Hen?
Cockerel

We have some 3 month old silkies. With all the research I have done, it looks like I unfortunately have roosters but I don't want to give them away if they are really hens. View attachment 1107506silkie #1 (with brown brick)

Silkie #2 (with grass background)View attachment 1107513 View attachment 1107514
Silkie #3 (black silkie)
The ony one that might be a pullet is the black silkie.

Thank you for your help!! Easter eggers around 3 months is what I was told but seem very small.
#1 is a cockerel
#2 is a cockerel
#3 is a cockerel
#4 is a pullet

Hen or roo? 6-7 weeks old. RIR.
It doesn't look like a cockerel, but it's still pretty young.

Was feeling confident that Midnight was a pullet but in the last couple weeks her comb and wattles have grown huge (especially compared to her sister who is from the same batch). I don't think I see male hackle or saddle feathers but this is my first go-round in 35+ years with chickens. I'm hoping Midnight is just maturing faster than Eclipse but that's a LOT of comb of wattles ... any thoughts??!! They were billed as Australorps but they both have splashes of brown. Neither one seems larger in the body or legs than the other (but they are humongous compared to the EE and Leghorn who are roughly the same age (16-18 weeks as I've had them 15 weeks now). Thanks!

blurry shot but Midnight in front, Eclipse in back, trying to show difference in comb size but they wouldn't hold still of course!View attachment 1108237 View attachment 1108238
I don't see any pointy feathers so I'm thinking they're hens.

Hi! I would like your oppinion on two of my chickens. The tan chicken is Lyric. Lyric is approximately 12- 14 weeks old. I'm not sure of the breed. I've been told its a possible EE mix and I've had a lot of people tell me it looks like a rooster. The white chicken is Duchess. It's a 10 week old delaware. I'm a little anxious about my delaware because its my favorite. I really hope its a female because I cant keep roosters where I live. What do you think hen or roo?
Pullets

I've got 3 blue laced red Wyandottes I'm wondering about! I am pretty sure they hatched May 31, putting them at about 10 weeks. One has a single comb.View attachment 1108342View attachment 1108343View attachment 1108344View attachment 1108345View attachment 1108346View attachment 1108347View attachment 1108348View attachment 1108349View attachment 1108350

I bought fertile eggs and let broody mama hatch
#1 I think is roo came out of dark terra-cotta egg; #2 was in green egg; # 3&4 brown eggs!
#4 and #1 are probably cockerels

Plymouth Barred Rock, about 10 weeks old
Could you post again in a couple weeks?

Another Plymouth Barred Rock, also about 10 weeks old
I'm leaning toward pullet, but could you post again in a couple weeks?

View attachment 1108557This is Bertie. He/she is a Buff Orpington X Easter Egger mix ten weeks old.
Looks like a pullet for now.

I have 4 leghorn hens, 2 orpington roosters, and 7 stars or barnyard chicks that I would like to know if they are hens or roosters. Can you help me? I have loaded one a couple of pics of all of them together and others pics of them individual or in pairs.

How old are they? Could you get clear individual pictures?

I was pretty convinced that this 8 week frizzle was a roo, but it's comb gets really pale and then I'm not sure again. Does this happen to other cockerels? The comb will be more red hen more pale at certain times?
I'm leaning toward pullet. Please post more pictures in a couple weeks.

I would appreciate your I put
How old is it? It doesn't look like an obvious cockerel yet.

I have these 2 turkens, both 6 weeks old. If you need more pics please let me know. Thanks!

Now 10 weeks old, still hoping at least one is a hen but they are starting to sound a bit squawky although no crows yet!
They are both most likely cockerels.

Darn. I was hoping.....4/5 cockerels in that hatch.

The orange one is stumping me, could you post more pictures of it in a couple weeks? The other one is a pullet.

View attachment 1111245 View attachment 1111246 Ok so I think I'm about to be upset - do these look like male saddle feathers coming through to y'all?! I already have 7 cockerels out of my flock of 10 and now I think one of my "for sure girls" is a boy! :barnie He/she is an Easter egger about 4-5 months old. Thank you!
Cockerel. Pullets don't get those pointy feathers.

How old is it?
