3 weeks old, cuckoo marans and barred rock.
Too young, but I don't see anything that screams cockerel.

Feather sexing doesn’t work in mixed breeds.

Cool! How did you know? EVERYONE says wing sexing DOES NOT WORK!
Oh, it's okay, it happens. I can show an example with pictures to show the differences. It works, just need to be good at it.
Feather sexing does work, but only when specifically bred for. The cross has to be of a fast-feathering rooster and a slow-feathering hen.
 
16 week old buff orpingtons - 2 confirmed pullets, but unsure of the 3rd - thinking I might have a roo or is the third just a pullet getting ready to lay?

Wow it’s hard to get chickens to pose for their pictures! I have 4 Rhode Island’s (I think!) that are 16 weeks old. Am I looking at future egg layers or crowers? I could only get decent pictures while they were digging, but can try again if needed. Thanks!
