I Can't Believe This!

I would speak to the principal too, if for no other reason than to bring to the principal's attention that a substitute teacher is behaving in such a way that reflects poorly on the school.

Tell her unless she has proof she needs to shut it and needs to learn how to check her facts herself instead of listening to what others tell her to think.

That lady is a nut. I would talk to the school, but oh well if they want to buy only store eggs.Their loss!

Sad part is some of the kids might actually believe this BS.

There was a character on one of the detective/lawyer/cop tv show series last night who hired people to go out on the internet to slander him.

Every time someone posted something slanderous about him and his company, his sales of his product went up by 20%.

Think of it as free advertising. After all you DID get the one teacher as a customer because of it.

I thought it was really funny, to be honest.

The color of the yolk, for one, as well as the 'clean' Kroger Farms chickens. I have another friend who thinks any commercial chicken lives under a Cone of Cleanliness.

But the best thing was that it was not nice to give those bright orange yolk eggs to children at a CHRISTIAN school.

Could you ask the teacher if it would be OK for you to send your evil orange eggs to a school that wasn't Christian? Say a Buddhist school?

That's probably a bad idea to ask her that. She sounds a little high strung.

I just thought of something else too...she was weirded out by the coloring...since when does salmonella have a color? Too bad there isnt a class on common sense folks have to pass before they can get a teaching credential.

Now think about this....that poor kid's parents are shelling out money for idiots like that to teach. I think if that was my school and my kid, and I was paying tuition, the principal would be hearing about....

1. the mis-information that the so called teacher spouted
2. the fact that the teacher took property from the child
3. that my tuition is not paying for my child to be treated that way
4. that the teacher should have maybe consulted the French teacher who asked for the eggs.

She is an idiot. I've already posted my opinion at the start.

I did want to mention something regarding the color of the yolks, though.

Many home raised eggs "do" have a darker yolk color than store bought eggs. The different feed probably plays a role. Store eggs often have a lighter color yolk color.

If she had never seen this before, it might have freaked her out a little. This does not excuse her behavior, of course, nor does it have anything to do with salmonella...
