Kansaseg- you need some heater tape for that, it will come on only when the temp approaches freezing. Plug up any drafty spots then apply the tape wherever there is frost on the drain, connect, wait a while and if it doesn't drain immediately, pour some boiling water to which you have added salt...been there, done that
Our day
Luckily we have a tractor with a snow blower and bucket...
Oh my...remember the water and salt go *in* the drain!!!!
I use heater tape in the barn to keep the intake pipes from freezing so I can have water in there. Next year we're building a second box with insulation so we can install a wall-mount hot water heater in there ( got it on sale) to have hot water. Has your heater tape failed maybe? It should work at those temps. If it's old it may have given up the ghost...
I was in Southern California for the past ten days, it sprinkled one day (0.10") and the rest of it was a sunny 65-75 degrees right on through New Year's day. Go ahead and blame them for their High Pressure system that is forcing the Low Pressure system your way...along with the Endless Winter.

Wait, why u bashing Bermuda grass???? It's like my best friend! Impossible to kill. I have chickens and green grass! Apparently some people find that impossible to comprehend! LOL
After my garden gets up to reasonable heights I just let the grass creep in - no big deal.
Plus it doesn't get all that tall if you're lazy about mowing. My dad used to be really fond of Kentucky Fescue and that stuff gets like 2 feet tall if you quit mowing it!!
Anyway, I feel like I've moved up north this month. I'm pricing insulation right now actually
One UPSIDE of having a really poorly insulated crawlspace is that it does keep your plumbing relatively warm even if your feet are cold. Silver lining
