I could cry. HELP!

6.5 hours later....nothing has changed. the pip hasn't got any bigger and no other eggs (theres 26 in there and all fertilized as of day 10) I know it could take a while but is that normal?

It can take them a while, even after pip. They gotta rest in between stages and get used to using their lungs. I'd give the pipped one 24 hours before you consider intervening. As for the others, I'd wait it out, especially if it's just now day 21.

Edited because typo

It's normal for them to take a very long break from a pip, plus there still absorbing the yolk sac. But keep tabs on the first pip, than take notice of the time and how long it's been.
24 hours is max, if it goes over you have to intervene and peel the shell and membrane away carefully but quickly. Then leave the chick in the incubator till it can stand up on it's own.

"Peel the shell" makes it sound like a hard boiled egg. It's not something you want to rush. You're going to gently enlarge the pip hole. Then remove some of the membrane and uncover the chicks face. If the membrane bleeds stop because the chick isn't ready to hatch. It the chick looks like it's silently peeping or chewing it's still absorbing the yolk sac and you should wait until it's done. If your sure it's time to help, zip on both sides of the pip hole. By zip I mean chip away shell and tear through the membrane in a line perpendicular to the long axis of the egg that passes through the pip. Keep watching for bleeding and stop if you see it. Otherwise you can keep zipping until there's a line all the way around the egg. Remove the smaller of the two pieces and set the egg back in the incubator so the chick can kick free of the egg.

I didn’t intervene at all. This morning we woke up to one cute little Houdan chick!!

I'm so excited! I've been lurking this thread, too!

Forewarning, that little guy is going to cheep his/her heart out. It's going to be so nerve-wracking. Thoughts like:
Will another chick hatch?
Should I take him/her out?
He/she looks so sad?
What if they're always alone and no other chick hatches?
What if he's hurting the other chicks in the eggs by knocking them everywhere?

Don't be tempted to lift that lid. Its cheeps will encourage the others. Leaving the first chick all by itself is always the hardest for me.

Tip: If you see the chick laying down next to one egg in particular, there's a good chance that's an egg getting ready to hatch.

Plz keep updating us! :)

I know it could take all day or more but this is my current set up. Im a photography editor so im just sitting at my computer all day editing. I set up my zero gravity lounge chair next to the incubator and am just waiting for some more to hatch :)
