I ran her out of the back yard 3 times and she kept sneakin' back eating my garden. The 4th day I found a pretty blue egg and told her she could stay! I do believe I've been adopted and brainwashed by that little feathery devil - 6 more chicks have found their home here via the feed store. Walked in looking for feed and walked out with a box o'chicks. How do they do that?!
Hi guys - coming out to thank you all for the guidance I gleaned from BYC. You helped keep Chicka alive and thriving, showed me how to build a brooder and coop and I blame you along with Chicka for turning me into a fool for chickens!
I'm hoping to be able to pay it forward some time and help along others who get drafted into chicken servitude

They do sneak up on you and before you know it you are trapped by their love and affection. Chicka are so easy to fall in love with. As you watch them grow and develop, it just gets more addicting.
