BTW, It should be easy to know if your Torie is a buff orp. or a brahma. If she's a brahma, she will have feathered feet. Buff orps. don't have feathers on their feet.
LOL that's so cool. you just made the post and just found out she's broody, and now you have chicks already. LOL. My only advise is not to fuss with Mama hen too much, but keep an eye on them to make sure she doesnt kick out any of the chicks.
congrats Im so worried I have my first broody and I THINK its been around 3 weeks I should of wrote it down on a calender, and my hen won't let me mess with her at all I wanted to put wood shavings underneath her and she won't let me she won't sit on the eggs with woodshavings and she bites and growls she is a mean broody.
