That's a dog that should have courage I'd think. Nothing dug in? Could there be loose wire still hanging in place so it looks ok?

Okay, I will. That's what I thought, but what worries the same thing happened to Audrey my Golden Buff 1 YEAR AGO and I still haven't "found" her. That's what really worries me.If the area she was in is secured then she is hidden somewhere in plain site. Just last month I unrolled a roll of plastic netting and a dead Rode Island red rolled out. The worst part about it was that I didn't even miss her. Keep looking for your hen.![]()
There are 2 holes under the fencing. I have no idea why. Sugar usually protects them. That's a dog that should have courage I'd think. Nothing dug in? Could there be loose wire still hanging in place so it looks ok?
Maybe.Coyote? Maybe a few drew the dog's attention while another one did the digging?

Holes or not, the chickens are safe. They got locked in last night.I hope you get those holes under the fence fixed immediately. When a coyote or fox finds a food source they won't quit until every chicken is gone. THEY WILL BE BACK!
