They might need the temp increased.
Are they outside?
Don't let them pile if you can.
Lower the light down if they pile.
Like jransmith said if they are to cold they will pile.
You don't want them to suffocate or get trampled.
If you keep the temp at 92 - 95 degrees they will not be directly under it and will spread out a little. But the chicks that are that cold will be in the middle.
