Hi Everyone,
Our duck experience started last April with six ducklings. We thought we would just let them free range and swim in our pond, however after much research and anxiety they ended up spoiled rotten with a large duck house and secure run with pond access. We started with 2 mallards (Ben and Zorro), 2 khakis (Big Brown and Bitty) and two pekins (King Kong and Butters).
Since then we have rescued 5 more ducks: indian runner (Chief), blue sweedish (Samson), pekin (Golly)and two mystery breeds (Charlie and Ferdinand) and one Chinese goose! All of which I found while trolling Craig's list...
In addition to the birds we have 2 goats and 2 small dogs. We love animals and enjoy rescuing whenever possible!
Having outdoor animals is new for me and I look forward to your opinions and advice!
