Nuthin' yet...but these are the ones that I wasn't sure about fertility on...last I candled, it looked like 2 MAYBE okay...but the other three looked poopy. Sighs.

I have another three from someone from BYC and two of those look like they are developing nicely, but they are another 2 weeks away from their due date...

I heard something a minute ago and went flying to the bator - and "talked goose" (whistled, peeped, but I didn't honk!

)but didn't get a response - guess it was my minature poodle wheezing - he has allergies and he was over in that direction..............and it's raining too could of been that!!!!!

Do they peep or whatever, before they pip like chicks do? Also, do they "imprint" on you like the canadian goslings do?

They whistle peep! If they are alive call them out. I have whistled my geese out of the egg once they pipped.

I'm excited for you. I would love to see lots of pictures of them as and when they hatch if possible. I am getting two (to month old) sebastopol geese next week. I am going to miss seeing them so little but I am still excited to get any. Yay geese. I hope they all hatch soon for you!!

If it makes you feel any better, I never heard any but one out of 4 that I have hatched out, peep in the shell before they pipped. All 4 of mine (different hatches at a time) hatched out on day 29, no pip until day 29. I have 4 sebbie goslings running around and they all followed the same pattern, hope that helps!

Some day I will have some Sebbies, I think they are the "dream bird" to own. I envy all of you who own some.
